Effective Sunday, December 19, 2004 (for trade date Monday, December 20), distributors receiving market data over Channel 4 of the Market Data Network (MDN) can expect to see Request for Quote (RFQ) messages.  CME is introducing a new enhancement to the CME Globex® trading platform to allow RFQs that will be used by customers who want to trade an instrument with an empty or out-of-date order book.  These messages will be disseminated via the existing CME Market Data “M4” message.
